Fire Emblem Trading Card Game

Fire Emblem Trading Card Game was the first collectable card game based off of the Fire Emblem video game series. Players build decks of 60 cards to duel one another using cards featuring characters from Fire Emblem's earliest video game installments.

The game is played on a 3x4 grid where players can spend chips to deploy units, equip them with weapons, magic, and items, and move them with the ultimate objective of either reducing the number of enemy units to 0 or moving your own units across the board to "seize" your opponent's home row. Players can also utilize surprise and land cards to gain a strategic advantage.

The game is divided into four phases:

The National Power Phase, in which used chips are restored and can be spent to deploy units, equip them with weapons, magic, and items, and play land cards.
The opponent's National Power Phase, in which your opponent does the same.
The Invasion Phase, in which the player with the first National Power Phase can move and attack with their deployed units.
The End Phase, in which "until the end of the turn" effects end.

The game ends when a player has no units, attempts to draw a card from their empty deck, or manages to move a unit from one side of the map to the other, and keeps them alive for one turn, winning via "seize".
