Final Whistle társasjáték

Angol leírás

Final Whistle is a party card game played during a live American football broadcast. The game on TV is the board: most of the 100 player cards name a moment that can happen on screen, such as a deep ball, a fair catch, a two-minute warning or a pick six. Others are actions, predictions and tactical plays, and some stay active for the whole game.

Shuffle the player cards and deal each player five cards face-up (three each with six or more players). Everyone watches the game. When a moment on one of your cards happens, call it, complete the card, bank it for its points and draw a replacement. If the moment matches cards in several hands, everyone holding a match banks. A card you forgot to call can still be banked later, as long as the moment happened while it was in your hand. Because every hand is face-up, the whole room can see what everyone is waiting for. Disputed calls go to a majority vote.

Play cards let players steal or double a stated number of points, so the lead can change late. The Opening Kickoff card starts the game by having everyone call the broadcast's coin toss. Three reference cards teach the game in about five minutes, and four blank House Rules cards let each group write its own rules.

The game ends when the broadcast does. Players total the points on their banked cards, and the most points wins. Ties are broken by the number of banked cards, then a coin flip. Each card also carries an optional drink line for adult groups; any beverage works, and the scoring never changes either way.
