What is in the book?
Heroes Arise expands on the original book adding sixteen new Exalted Heroes, four new scenarios, a new army list of Eldritch Horrors and a new narrative campaign and lore!
The rules and format of the new book will be very familiar to those who have played Fated Blade, making it a seamless addition to your collection.
Heroes Arise promises new cunning war-tricks, new strategies and a whole host of fun new additions.
The expansion makes the game into the Backgammon of the wargaming world – but will the fates be your friend or your foe?

New Exalted Heroes
Sixteen new Exalted Heroes, from the brutal Werewolf to the sneaky Rogue, from the swift Wolfblade to the heavy Witch Knight, from the cunning Fatemancer to the arcane artillery of the Ringmancer.

Every new Exalted hero introduces new abilities and strategies. They are divided between three general 'classes' – Fighter heroes for damage output, Support heroes for enhancing troops and cursing enemies and Hybrid heroes who are a mix of the two.

The Eldritch Horrors Army List
A new army list which covers all of your favourite Eldritch Horrors – from Shelled Warriors and Deep Ones to Drowned Zombies and Corrupted Riders.
The Eldritch Horrors list favours close ranged skirmish shooting, fear-causing beasties and armoured hulks who wade through hordes of lesser foes. But it lacks long range shooting and the sheer versatility of land-based armies.

Four New Scenarios
Sword and Sorcery – Send an elite warband to rescue a VIP before enemy reinforcements cut you off. This scenario favours a swift, mounted attacker charging into the fray.

Monster Slayer – The race is on to slay as any many mighty monsters as possible, taking their hides back to your paymaster. One slain monster respawns onto the board at the start of every turn, making this scenario a nail-biter from start to finish.
Enemy Under Siege – Launch a daring assault against a fortified defender. Whoever controls the fortress walls is the victor.

Mega Battle – Double up your warbands and unleash the horde against your opponent! The mega battle favours Support heroes as they have larger units to enchant or curse.

The Lore Section
The Lore section of the book covers the Myth Cycle of Eldnox – from the Age of the Trees, to the first Abyssal Host and the glorious days of Dawnshield, followed by the rise of the Guardians and their transformation into the Drakorian Empire.
The west-realm of Eratur is covered in more detail, expounding on the grip of Imperial Drakoria, the might of the Royal Army, the independent Warrior Guids and the Knightly Orders of the western realms.
Finally the lore section ends with a narrative campaign – The First Uprising. Follow the mighty Rul Tharyn as she gathers her Wyrm Slayers on an epic quest against the Imperial Drakoria, culminating in a final battle in the Drakorian Citadel.
