The Outlands are a place at the edge of our physical reality, where the elements can be manipulated, and a strong mind can change energy into physical forms. You are an Alchemist, one of many drawn here to test your theories and expand your understanding of the universe. Scattered across the Outlands are Forges, gathering places where Alchemists and entrepreneurs come together for trade, sharing knowledge, and bragging about recent discoveries. Not everyone here has the best intentions, however. A powerful Alchemist has set out to become one with the elements, seeking to dominate others by becoming an Elemental Lord. Before they can succeed, journey across the Outlands, visit the Forges, and gather power of your own. Perhaps you can harness this power to defeat the villain before all hope is lost.

FantasyForm is a solitaire fate-manipulation game with an alchemical theme. Buying and selling powerful Essences not only give you opportunities to make profit, but they let you change the events that you'll be facing in future turns. You can hire travel companions, equip helpful Artifacts, and assume Elemental Forms that grant special abilities to you or your Rival, depending on who gets to them first. You have a very limited number of turns to make all of this happen, however, so you'll have to make the most of every turn to order your fate and defeat your Rival in time.
