Fakes is a card game where players share an anecdote about a chosen topic and listen to their opponents' stories. A secret card tells you whether to tell the truth or lie. You must convince everyone of your story and use your wits to figure out which of your opponents is lying.

Each player secretly receives a card indicating whether they must tell the truth or lie. Then, a topic card is revealed, and each player shares a personal story about that topic—either lying or telling the truth, depending on their card.

Afterward, players can ask each other questions to try and guess who is lying. Then, everyone counts to three and points at the person they believe is the liar.

You earn points for spotting the liar and when someone incorrectly accuses you of lying. Five rounds are played, and the player with the most points wins.
