“The place most go astray,” the Gamemaster begins, “is confusing strategy and tactics. Tactics are about the next few moves — optimizing locally. But strategy, now that’s a beautiful thing. Planning for the long term while still performing well at every stage.”

In Gamemaster’s Challenge, you attempt to play Enchanted Ivy sequentially through Scenarios 1-9, followed by the Epilogue. You only get one shot at each scenario. If you don’t achieve the success score, your challenge ends (and can be restarted).

This promotional game mode for Enchanted Ivy, released at GenCon 2026, gives players a new way to experience replays of the base Enchanted Ivy storybook scenarios.
