As a student at Hedgecroft School of Sorcery and Magecraft, you are no stranger to stress. And Casting Certifications’ Week is the absolute worst! Up next is your final exam for Enchanting the Elements: Level 1, your hardest course. Can you prove your mastery of the Elements before Professor Smithwick calls “Wands up!”?

In Elements, the player assumes the role of a student mage and must demonstrate mastery over each of the 4 Elements by casting spells in order to pass a timed final exam. Earth is first. Then Air. Then Fire. And Water is last. Players cast their elemental spells by cycling through the Exam Deck in their hand without changing the orientation or position of any card during each attempt to pass an Element. Every time that the player demonstrates their mastery over an Element on their first try, they gain 1 die (1 d6). These achievements (dice earned) will be used at the very end of the game to determine whether or not the student passes the class with honors.
