El Huésped can be played in large groups of 5 to 12 players, aged 8 and up, in games lasting about 30 minutes. In this hidden role-playing game, the players' objective is to survive, either by being the last one standing or by eliminating the opposing group.
At the beginning of the game, there are two sides: the healthy crew members and the crew members infected by the guests. The goal of each team is to eliminate the members of the opposing team, but no one knows which crew members are infected by the guests. But be very careful, a third side could appear if someone loses their sanity.
Throughout the game, crew members will play cards with different powers and effects to try to guess the identity of the other players. The deck of cards also includes voting cards, which trigger a special phase in which players vote on whether to eliminate a player from the ship. Some cards can be used to alter the vote, so you never know what might happen.
