Stoneheart Descent: Dungeon Draw is a fast-paced, endlessly replayable card crawl designed for solo play or co-op for up to four players. Players explore a dynamic dungeon revealed one card at a time, encountering treasures, traps, merchant trades, and lethal monsters. To play, you will need two dice, a tracking method (paper, life counters, or a Crawlboard™), and your selected Hero. Setup involves shuffling the deck with a Wandering Merchant hidden near the middle and a final Boss waiting face-down at the bottom.

During your run, Hero management is key to survival. Solo Heroes can carry up to four items—balancing weapons, armor, shields, spells, and potion ingredients—while co-op play reduces inventory slots to three per player. Spells require a spellcasting hero, potions can stack ingredients, and used items shuffle back into the unplayed deck. As you conquer encounters and gather gold, you can spend loot to Level Up your Hero, flipping their card over to unlock enhanced stats and restore full health.

Combat requires strategic decisions to attack, flee, or handle events. In battle, players roll dice to deal damage, with allies or flipping players taking the first swing before alternating hits with the enemy. Defeated foes yield valuable loot, while fleeing a Boss requires a chance roll that risks damage and sends the Boss back to the bottom of the stack. If a party member falls, they can be immediately revived for 2,000 gold; otherwise, they are lost.

Victory is achieved by surviving the deck, defeating the Boss, and calculating your total loot tally to earn a final Hero Title (ranging from "N00B" at 3,000 loot to "LEGENDARY" at 30,000+ loot). In co-op mode, players track health and treasures individually, trade items between encounters, and compete for the highest final tally among survivors. For an extended challenge, players can flip the completed stack over to play through the remaining unseen cards in reverse.
