A DISTRIX egy remek társasjáték, 2 játékos részére, az átlagos játékidő rövidebb, csak 30 - 60 perc. A társast, 14 éves kortól ajánljuk kipróbálni. A játékmenet erősen épít a terület befolyásolás/irányítás, a változó setup és a négyszög-rács mechanizmusokra.

DISTRIX is an award-winning game of skill in which two players, Red and Blue, compete to control more than half of the 9 political districts in an imaginary state. A highly strategic game, DISTRIX shows how election districts can be created by having political parties play a competitive game against each other. The game offers a potential solution to America's gerrymandering problem.
The goal in DISTRIX—to control more districts than your opponent—is simple, but the strategy—involving basic arithmetic and geometry—runs deep. The game begins with 36 community tiles being placed in a random 6x6 arrangement. Each community favors Red or Blue by a certain amount that is known to both players. During the game, players use colored tokens to assign communities to political districts one community at a time. Players may also reassign communities from large districts to adjacent smaller districts to better equalize the district sizes. The game ends when 9 districts are fully formed and there are no moves remaining. The winner is the player who controls the most districts.
DISTRIX is for 2 players ages 14 and up and takes 30-60 minutes to play. It includes 36 community tiles, 9 home base tokens, 9 scoring tokens, 162 expansion tokens, 2 ten-sided dice, a scoreboard, a rulebook, and a rule summary sheet. Two bonus items—a rulebook for 7 expansion games and game board for 2 expansion games—are also currently included. Multiple game sets may be combined to play more complex games with larger playing areas. For example, in the expansion game DISTRIX III (which uses three DISTRIX sets), two players compete to control more than half of the 15 political districts in a 10x9 state.
DISTRIX was a silver medal winner in the 2020 Serious Play Tabletop Game Competition.
