Discovering Zero is a card-shedding, engine-building game about civilizations competing to be the first to discover the concept of zero.

Starting with hand of cards and some simple Discoveries, Hunting and Gathering, you utilize clever card plays to activate them (on your and other player's turns) and get helpful Tools. Use Tools to play more cards and get more Discoveries with more powerful effects. You play 1 card and draw 2 cards each turn, so you'll need all the help you can get as you race toward that goal of playing all the cards in your hand and discovering zero.

Once you've played the base game, there are four mini-expansions adding iconic elements of the different civilization games, including war, wonders and more.
