This Egyptian mythology inspired expansion adds two more villages, Dama Oasis and The Eternal City, five Allies, and twelve adventure cards, introducing the "grand ascent" mechanic that forces one to discard the lowest value cards from the grid.
In the Distant Lands, you'll find yourself on the brink of an ancient world—a realm brimming with curses, temple guardians, and ancient gods. Here, the old deities still roam, and the strange and mysterious are commonplace. But beware, the desert is unforgiving to strangers, and your journey grows more perilous with each passing moment. Gather your resolve, for you are the only force standing between the immortal rulers and their ascent to power.
1 New Mechanic and 1 New Feature: Grand Ascent and Negative Reputation Adventure Cards
Grand Ascent: Exchange the lowest RP Adventure Card with the top card from the Adventure Deck, then shuffle.
Negative Reputation Adventure Cards: Currently, there are three Adventure Cards that feature Negative Reputation Points, each with the lowest dice values in the game. Will you complete these cards to unlock a powerful combo? Can you handle the Grand Ascent consequences that alter the playing field? Or will you leverage the low dice value to make the most of a limited roll? The choice is yours.
2 New Towns on one double-sided card.
