The future of demolition derby is here, and there’s no event more exciting than the Robo-Derby Championships. Players from all over the world come to the battle pit to participate and witness the greatest robot fighting tournament.
The game is played in a series of robot melees. Each melee begins by drawing a hand of 6 random weapon cards. These cards include such weapons as UZIs, Sledge Hammers, Computer Viruses, Flame Throwers, Battery Surges and many more. Each weapon also
costs one of 6 specific types of "robot part" to play, these parts are represented by a collection of dice shared between the players and rolled in the central play area (AKA the Junkyard).
Once the dice are rolled all players must use one hand to grab single dice and place them on their personal robot card as fast as they can to "build" their robot. It's first come first serve in the junkyard, so you better be quick to grab the parts you need.
Once all the robots have been built the melee begins. Each player secretly chooses a weapon card from their hand. Once all the cards have been selected they are revealed simultaneously. The fastest weapons strike first dealing damage in the hopes of destroying the other robots. Players continue selecting cards from their hand until all six cards are used, or just one robot is left standing.
Each time your robot survives a melee in the battle pit you'll receive a Victory Medal, be the first player to gain 3 Victory Medals (or survive the sudden death round) and you’ll be the reigning Robo-Derby Champion!
