Democratix is a Slovak board game for 3 to 5 players that shows how democracy works – from campaigns and elections to coalitions and governing. Players get to experience what it's like to make political decisions, seek compromises, and win the trust of voters.
Each player represents a certain part of the social spectrum, according to economic aspects — from left to right and social aspects — from conservative to progressive.

In the first part of the game, players take turns playing activity and promise cards. For these cards, they gain, take over, or remove voters on the board. Once 15 voters appear on the board, the first part of the game ends and the election results are evaluated.
Players gain the number of representatives won in the election and, through discussion and value intersections, a coalition is negotiated. Once the players have agreed and divided into a coalition (with a selected prime minister) and an opposition, the second part of the game begins, which is a 4-year election period.

The elected representatives are assigned to individual promises, which are then voted on with yes/no cards (according to the number of representatives - a majority is required for approval). The opposition uses its MPs for constructive criticism, which can weaken other promises, or leads an anti-campaign and gains political points.

There is a discussion about individual proposals, and the prime minister determines the order in which they will be voted on. Players then gain/lose political points for approved laws based on how they align with their political orientation, which they drew at the beginning of the game. After 4 rounds (years) full of unexpected votes, heated discussions, and betrayals, the game ends and the player with the most political points wins.
