Cthulhu: Age of Madness (C:AoM) is a competitive card game for 2-4 players, rooted in the lore of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. Lifelong fans of Lovecraftian horror, it was only (un)natural that as Strange Aeon Games comes to fruition, we would launch with our own take on the topic.

Is being an Investigator trying to stop the Elder Gods attempt to return getting old? Tired of tracking Sanity? Cthulhu: Age of Madness may be the game for you. In C:AoM, you don't play an Investigator, Reporter, or Student. You assume the role of an Elder God's cult, attempting to open the Gates, allowing your Elder God through, and ushering in the Age of Madness. No need for Sanity, you can't be too stable if you're a Cthulhu Cultist!

Built from the ground up to be as original as possible (increasingly difficult with the Cthulhu theme), Cthulhu: Age of Madness started with a combat-style game mechanic, incorporating a ton of Lovecraftian symbology and mythology. A competitive card game, C:AoM has each player choosing an Elder God, and attempting to unlock 4 Seals to open a Gate, allowing their Elder God to enter our Realm.

The life of a Cultist in Cthulhu: Age of Madness is not easy. While their main goal is to unlock the Seals, they play other crucial parts in the game. They can be sent to the Graveyard. They can be stolen by another cult. They can be converted. Cultists must beware!
