As a cryptozoologist, you are used to researching weird and strange phenomenon. However, you never expected to fall in love with the very creatures you were studying. To make things even worse, other researchers have fallen in love too, and now you have to compete for the cryptid's affection. Love is hard...

Crushing on Cryptids is an absurdist competitive tabletop game for 1–6 players. Take on the role of a lovesick researcher and attempt to win the heart of a cryptid. Each round, players listen to a Cryptid Conversation and try to identify the traits the cryptid is expressing. Using cards, players take turns building sentences in response, hoping to craft the perfect message.

The researcher whose response best matches the cryptid's desires wins a date and earns valuable Cryptid Roses or information to help them win the game.

Over the course of three rounds, players will compete to collect the most roses. The researcher with the most Cryptid Roses wins the game and earns their happily-ever-after with the cryptid of their dreams.
