Crossing Swords is a sword-fighting card game, set in the era of musketeers, pirates, and the rest of those dashing swashbucklers.

Each player has an individual character deck with which to engage in duels or multi-player sword-fights in the vein of some of the greatest movies of all time.

Several offensive cards (marking the position of your sword) are played down quickly upon one another, and then your opponent must remember the movements you made and try to respond correctly from his hand of cards.

The game has several difficulty levels, starting from very simple 2-card attacks and 2-card responses, up to a total of 7 cards played in a sequence by one player. The position cards allow players to conduct the most common fencing moves (including cut, thrust, feint, beat, lunge, riposte, stop, and footwork) without requiring players to learn all about them or spend time reading cards. Crossing Swords is a fast-paced and fun way to duel it out.
