Have you ever wondered what’s inside a shampoo or a hand cream? If you’d like to discover the ingredients in your favorite cosmetic products, Cosmetologic is just what you’re looking for!
It is a board game about cosmetic formulation, which can also be used as an educational tool within a dedicated training program.

The goal of the game is to create two cosmetic products by collecting all the ingredients.
The game can be played at three different levels: introductory, standard, and advanced.
The basic gameplay is common to all three, while the introductory level does not require the use of a board. The standard level uses the basic side of the board, while the advanced level uses the advanced side.
The basic gameplay involves collecting ingredient cards from a common market or from designated decks and inserting them into the correct recipes, spending other cards and ingredients to do so.
The player must then carefully manage which cards to collect and which to spend to complete their recipe.
In some cases, if the exact ingredient is not available, the player can choose to use an ingredient from the same family, but this will result in fewer points.
At the end of the game, when a player has finished their two recipes, the points earned are tallied. The winner is not the player who finishes the game, but the player with the most points.

This way, players must familiarize themselves with all the ingredients available in the deck and choose them appropriately to create two of the 20 available recipes.
The game also includes materials for creating their own recipes and introducing any basic ingredients not in the deck.

Si tratta, infatti, di un gioco da tavolo sulla formulazione cosmetica, che può anche essere usato come strumento didattico all’interno di un percorso formativo dedicato.

Scopo del gioco è realizzare due prodotti cosmetici, raccogliendone tutti gli ingredienti.
Il gioco può essere giocato a tre livelli differenti: introduttivo, standard e avanzato.
Il meccanismo base è comune a tutti e tre i livelli, per quello introduttivo non è previsto l’uso di alcuna plancia, per quello standard verrà utilizzata la plancia sul lato base, mentre per quello avanzato si utilizzerà la plancia sull’altro lato, quello avanzato.
Il meccanismo base prevede di raccogliere le carte ingredienti da un mercato comune o dagli appositi mazzi e inserirle opportunamente nelle ricette corrette, spendendo per fare questo altre carte ingrediente.
Il giocatore dovrà quindi gestire opportunamente quali carte raccogliere e quali spendere per poter terminare la sua ricetta.
In alcuni casi, se non vi è l’ingrediente esatto, il giocatore può scegliere di utilizzare un ingrediente della stessa famiglia, realizzando però meno punti.
A fine gioco, quando un giocatore ha terminato le sue due ricette, vengono contati i punti realizzati, non vince chi ha chiuso il gioco ma chi ha totalizzato più punti.

In questo modo, i giocatori devono prendere confidenza con tutti gli ingredienti disponibili nel mazzo e sceglierli opportunamente per realizzare due tra le 20 ricette disponibili.
Nel gioco e poi previsto del materiale per poter realizzare delle proprie ricette e introdurre di conseguenza eventuali ingredienti base non presenti nel mazzo.
