Each commander has special rules based on his leadership style during the battle being fought.
In the Battle of Blackburn's Ford, McDowell's two divisions are probing for weaknesses across Bull Run Creek just south of where he will ultimately cross and fight the first major battle of the Civil War. Waiting for him are two Confederate divisions preparing for their first fight.
