Coffeebreak Wargame is an 8x8 square grid-based, quick-play, small-footprint, singleplayer or multiplayer miniatures wargame system designed for people who:

want an easy introduction into the world of wargaming;
don’t have the time or space to play full-size wargames;
simply like their tabletop gaming in small sips, like me!

The Sword & Spell variant of this game focuses on warfare in the fantasy worlds of magic, elves, dwarves, giants and dragons. Take to the field with shields and spears, claws, talons, jaws and flames, and sorcery both sacred and vile!

Features:

Big battles distilled into less than 10 pages while retaining the feeling of playing a full-blooded wargame;
A single base of miniatures is a single Unit. The scale is irrelevant, as long as a single base fits neatly into a single square;

No Hit Points. Track damage through a simple Status Track;
A four-phase Turn structure providing clean and fast gameplay;
Choose one of the 9 Factions in this game to deploy on the board;
Field specialized and powerful Hero Units where they’re needed;
Dedicated Solo Play rules!
