Word Tennis is a fast paced word association game with a tennis based playing mechanism.
Players serve a response to a card drawn from the 4 categories and lose a life (tennis ball) if they fail to respond in under 5 seconds. Long rallies and difficult card topics lead to hilarious outcomes.

There are four card categories, Name, Association, Object and Special. Once a card is drawn, the players go clockwise giving their response to said card in under 5 seconds until someone runs out of time or is challenged.

If they are challenged using the special challenge block (each player has one) they have 2 minutes to defend their response. If their defense fails then the challenger gets their life and loses their challenge block (They can still challenge going forth but an incorrect challenge will lose the challenger a life each time).

If the defendant is right then the challenger loses their challenge block and the game goes on.
The lives are in the form of wooden tennis balls. Depending on how many people are playing depends on how many lives each player can have.

Name card - Response has to have the name on the name card on it.

Association card - Must say something associated to the word on the card.

Object card - Word on the card must be included in your response and it must be an object.

Special card - To be accessed only by those on one life.

These cards have broad topics that the user can chose from to increase their chances of survival (Simpsons, Bus stations etc).
