A combination of chess and poker that uses standard playing cards for special effects. The chess pieces move as they would in an ordinary game of chess, with certain exceptions. Players draw cards from a standard poker deck on every turn. Different cards correspond to different playing pieces. The red cards correspond to the white pieces and the black cards correspond to the black pieces. Being able to form and play different Poker hands allows the players to do such things as teleport a piece or move multiple times in a row. For the white player, red poker hands effect the player's own pieces and black poker hands effect the opponent.

The effects of the various poker hands are potent, thus, the game is a much more tactical chess that is quicker, more severe, and with added dimensions to consider. Playing in the traditional sense generally does not work as the playing of the various poker hands change the traditional rules.
