Bluffin’ for Booty is a 2-3 player micro game designed to be accessible for everyone to play.

2-Player Rules:
Place the Captain’s coin between both players, leaving the other two coins in the bag. The first player secretly draws one of the two remaining coins and places the purse with the final coin in front of their opponent. The first player then declares either “I’ve got the Booty!” or “You’ve got the Booty!” This statement may be true or a bluff. The other player then chooses to keep the coin in the purse or swap it with the first player’s coin. The player who ends up with the Booty wins the round and takes the Captain’s coin. Switch who goes first and play again. Continue until one player wins two rounds in a row, winning the game.

3 Player Rules:
Each player secretly draws a coin at random from the purse. The player who draws the Captain’s coin reveals their coin and announces that they are the Captain. The other two players now try to convince the Captain that they have the Booty by declaring, “I’ve got the Booty!” If the Captain correctly selects the holder of the Booty coin, both the Captain and the Booty-holder win the game together. But if the Captain chooses the Kraken, the Kraken has defeated the Captain and wins the game alone.

We believe games should be for everyone. Bluffin’ for Booty was designed with accessibility and inclusivity in mind: the backs of the coins feature distinct textures so that visually impaired players can participate fully.
