OBJECT OF THE GAME
The tulip industry is booming and it’s time to strike when the iron is hot!

Your goal is to harvest, transport, and sell tulips from your farms to the market. You have to sell them quickly though. Tulip prices decrease as tulips of the same color are sold, so the quicker you can sell your tulips, the better!

GAMEPLAY
On your turn you will perform actions in the following three phases:

1. GATHER
Grab a field tile from the reserve, and replace it with the top one from the stack, or grab one from the top of the stack.

2. PREPARE
Either...

Plant - place a tile, in connection (by a matching field or by a canal) with another tile

Replant - stack a tile on top of another tile

3. FARM
Either...

Harvest - Place or move a farmer onto any available farms. You may then place a matching tulip on any tile in this farm, that does not yet have a tulip on it.

Build - Place or move a farmer onto any available windmill tiles.

Transport – Move up to three barges once per barge. Whenever a barge moves onto a tile with a tulip - or over in the case of an active windmill tile - that player may add that tulip to the barge (max of one per barge).

REACHING THE MARKET

Once your barge reaches any of the market tiles, immediately grab the top token from the pile matching the tulip your barge delivered. Your barge then resets back to your dock tile. Keep that tulip.

GAME END
The game immediately ends if either:

Three token piles are gone.
The last tile has been drawn.

FINAL SCORING

• Add up all your tokens’ point values.
• Collect the tulips that are in your barges, on the farms that you own, and tulips you’ve acquired throughout the game. Count them as one point per two bulbs.
• The player with the largest farm gets an additional ten points. If there are ties, all those who tied get five points.

WINNER

• The player with the most points wins!
• If there’s a tie, the player with the most tulips wins!
• If there is still a tie, those players share the victory!
