Blue Blaze Expansion adds 30 cards to each set of the card game Blazing Thru the Appalachian Trail. These new cards allow you to experience Blue Blazes — either side trails or events — that give you either endgame points or scoring bonuses that accumulate for the entire game as you collect them.

Blue Blaze also introduces "State Theme" cards to the game which change depending on the direction you’re hiking. State Themes may increase the value of certain locations in the State. They may also create unique conditions during a particular State, such as acquiring temporary Gear or gaining Hiker tokens when visiting particular locations.
