What is Battle for Glory
Battle for Glory 3 is a brigade-level American Civil War miniature wargame. You command Divisions and the infantry brigades, cavalry brigades, artillery batteries, and commanders that make those formations work.

The game is historical, but gameable: simple, not simplistic. It concentrates on battlefield decisions that mattered to Civil War commanders—missions, formation, movement, fire, close combat, morale, cohesion, terrain, and command—without turning every battlefield difficulty into another die roll or bookkeeping system.

The miniatures are part of the rules. Their position, facing, frontage, formation, contact, and relationship to terrain answer many questions directly. When the tabletop can show what is happening, BFG3 uses that physical situation rather than adding an unnecessary test.

It works with 3mm, 6mm, 10mm, and 15mm.
Basing is up to the player, though 30mm to 40mm works best.
Brigades are the basic combat unit.

Doesn't require figure or stand removal.
Unit tags can be used or a roster to track Combat Effective Points.

Morale status goes Good, Disorder, Broken, Rout.
Divisional Cohesion tracks the Division's ability to stay effective on the field.
