Azakhar: The Reclamation of the Forest is a fantasy strategy game for 2 to 4 players, in which rival clans compete over the course of three days to reclaim the forest.

In the southern reaches of the ancient lands lies a village surrounded by a magical forest known as Azakhar.

Because of the forest's magical nature and the powerful spiritual force that permeates it, those who dwell within its borders possess exceptionally long lives and a natural affinity for magic.

Among them are the Azakharis, mages who revere the power of the forest. For centuries, they have made their home there, protecting Azakhar and wielding the powers it grants them to control powerful golems that once lay dormant. These ancient guardians help drive away the dark creatures that seek to claim the power of the forest for themselves.

But Azakhar's protection has been compromised.

During the last moon, the orcs attacked, killing many members of the Azakharis, including their leader.

In an act of desperation, the surviving Azakharis devised a three-day competition to find mages powerful enough to carry on their legacy and protect the forest.

Thus, powerful clans emerged to take part in the contest. Some are driven by the honor of undertaking this sacred duty. Others seek the gift of the long life granted by the forest. And some harbor motives that remain unknown...

Now, you must decide which clan will inherit this legacy.

Through asymmetric powers and abilities, each player will face monsters, gather resources, and strive to prove their worth. At the end of the third day, only one clan will be declared the champion.

Azakhar is a game for those who seek deep strategic gameplay without sacrificing an engaging and immersive story.

Gameplay Mechanics:

The core mechanics of Azakhar are worker placement and action management. Assign your mages throughout the village to improve your clan’s attributes. In the forest, through asymmetric powers and abilities, each player will command your golems to gather resources and face dangerous monsters.

Each of these actions earns Prestige Points with the Azakharis. At the end of the game, the clan with the most Prestige becomes the champion and assumes leadership of the forest.
