In the game *Athos Bulcão | Master Pieces*, 2 to 4 players compete to recreate the famous tile patterns of Brazilian artist Athos Bulcão. The goal is to place tiles on the main board, trying to connect patterns and control areas to score points. Each turn, players can perform up to two actions, such as picking or placing tiles, trading tiles with other players, or adjusting the orientation of the tiles.

The patterns formed immediately score points, and patterns that match the Contract Cards provide extra points at the end of the game. The game ends when all tiles have been used, and the player with the most points wins.

Who was Athos Bulcão?

Athos Bulcão (Rio de Janeiro, July 2, 1918 – Brasília, July 31, 2008) was a Brazilian painter, sculptor, draftsman, and artist.

Born in the Catete neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, he abandoned his medical studies in 1939 to dedicate himself to visual arts. His first solo exhibition was in 1944, at the inauguration of the headquarters of the *Institute of Brazilian Architects* in his hometown.

For his body of work, he received numerous awards and honors, including the "Order of Cultural Merit", awarded by the Ministry of Culture of Brazil in 1995.

He passed away at the age of 90 in the Sarah Kubitschek Hospital in Brasília, due to complications from Parkinson's disease.
