Ash & Alliance: The Fall of Solkrath is a competitive fantasy adventure game for 2–6 players set around the volcanic lair of Solkrath, a once-great golden dragon consumed by corruption. As the corruption spreads, heroes from different races are drawn into the conflict for different reasons.

Players control up to three characters and spend Action Points to move across the map, attack, activate skills, and play cards. Defeated shadow characters can be recruited into a player's team, while treasures provide additional tactical abilities. Players also pursue bounty quests, which provide smaller objectives to work toward throughout the game. At the end of each round, the shadow forces retaliate and Solkrath grows increasingly dangerous.

The game offers two modes. In Basic Mode, each player secretly pursues individual bounty quests and earns points from controlled characters, relics, and completed bounties.

In Adventure Mode, players receive hidden roles and belong to competing alliances. Bounties become shared quests, with players secretly influencing whether they succeed or fail. Cooperation, deception, and shifting trust determine which alliance reaches its victory condition first.
