Arrrgh! Or not? is a competitive pirate card game set on the High Sea of Taradiddle. Players captain their ships through unpredictable voyages, gaining and losing Reputation as they encounter treasure, trouble, curses, monsters, ghosts, magic, and other hazards of the High Sea.

On each turn, players make choices that affect their voyage, their ship, and their standing among the other captains. Voyage cards create changing situations, while upgrades and other card effects alter how each ship handles the dangers ahead. Reputation rises and falls as players take risks, recover, improve their position, or suffer the consequences of bad luck and worse decisions.

Each game creates a different voyage through the combination of cards, ship development, and player choices. The player with the most Reputation at the end of the game wins.
