You are a spider, competing for limited space and resources with other spiders. Spin webs, fend off attacks and try to catch those elusive bugs. You need cunning strategies and perfect timing to master this competition of webs and fangs.

You start out with one spider and a small web. Select actions from your player board, which allow you do many things like spin webs, and reinforce them so you can capture the bugs as they periodically fly by the webs. The competition is fierce and space is limited in this miniature spider world. You must forage for food, fend off attackers, add more spiders to your colony, and maintain your web so the storms don't blow them away. It's tough being a spider.

In the base game, the players select from a number of actions on their player boards as number of events are drawn randomly from a bag each turn. These events range from bug strikes on the webs, to a storm which can rip away some of your frail structures. Players push their luck, deciding when to expand their vulnerable webs and when to reinforce them.

The advanced variant introduces asymmetrical player powers, a unique shifting card tableau action selection mechanism, and a spider university where players can acquire even more unique actions.
