The planet, once abundant with life, was destroyed by the greed of its human inhabitants, prompting nature to reclaim it through rising water levels that drowned all but the most adaptable creatures. However, an advanced alien species known as the Overseers, beings who transcend space and time, discovered the remnants of humanity and became fascinated by their irrational behaviors—traits they saw as perfect for entertainment. Using their technology, they combined human DNA with sea creatures and created Aquaball, the most thrilling game in the universe. Now, the planet, renamed Ballmionhoth, serves as a luxury resort for the Overseers, where humanoid sea creatures battle in Aquaball under the guidance of human coaches whose decisions add unpredictability. With survival tied to the game’s outcome, players and coaches must compete or face an unknown fate. As the next season begins, your role as a coach is crucial—lead your team to victory or discover what happens to those who refuse to play.

The game revolves around 3 rounds/tournaments. If you lose in the final one you lose the game. If you are not the one with the least points in the final, you win. By using many cards on the coach's hands and other attachable cards, you can add many layers of unpredictability. These all stem from the players themselves which you also buy. These players have four skills with specific interaction which decide the game. The currency system is a closed auction kind of market where everyone makes their bids and reveals at the same time for the cards and players. You must the setup your lineup and prepare for 1 of the three rounds. The first two rounds offer a very powerful card among other merits if they are won.
