Like its owner, mystery writer Rosemary Clark, Winterwood Mansion is known for being the source of numerous enigmas. Filled with hidden passageways, secret entrances, and lots of quirky design choices with no apparent purpose, Winterwood Mansion was built in the 1920s by railroad mogul and amateur detective, Clyde Winterwood. Although Rosemary Clark has lived in the house for more than thirty years, she is certain there are still things about the house she hasn't discovered yet. Nothing drives that point home more than the hidden room she discovers behind one wall of the cellar. Even more shocking is the long-dead body she discovers there belonging to a local reporter who went missing twenty years ago.
