... God created the Heavens and gave it to the Angels. The Angels lives in the Silver City. The Angel Lucifer took issue with God over giving Earth to the humans, and he was exiled from the Silver City. Many, known now as the The Fallen, that agreed with Lucifer left with him, and the Red City was born.
Lucifer schemes to take the Silver City. Now wr is on the horizon. The Faithful Angels look to stop the Fallen roaming the Heavenly Realms. These are the Heralds of War.

Welcome to Angels: Heralds of War, a rules-lite
skirmish-level war game for 2 players, but a solo mode is also available. This game uses the ZipWarz game system. In the game, one player plays as the Fallen Angels, while the other player plays as the Faithful Angels. Each side has their own goals they are looking to achieve on the battlefield. Each goal earns them Victory Points. The player with the most Victory Points at the end of the 4th round wins the game.

It's a PnP game where you can use your available minis, tokens and dice with the PnP material provided. Included with Angels: Heralds of War are 8 unique armies ready to battle. Each one has special powers and unique Victory Point goals to reach during the game. Each one has a leader and some followers.

Each player has their army and moves their units on the 4x6 battlefield grid. They choose 1-3 units to take 2 actions each round, alternating players after each unit until all units are done. When in the same zone on the grid the units can attack and try to defeat the opponent's units to earn Victory Points.
