The Alphabet deck has 54 letter cards, and its rule book has rules for 18 different games, which fall into three main categories:

Word games, where the letters are used to make words.

Grab. Like Snap, with players claiming the exposed cards if they see a word among the visible letters.
Words. A rummy game where players try to make a word using all the letters in their (small) hand.
Disco. Players try to be the first to empty their hand by adding letters to the current growing word fragment.
Straight Poker. 7-card draw poker, either with or without betting.
Show Poker. Straight poker where players reveal a letter from their word when placing a bet.
Puzzles. 9 different solo challenges for word-making using part or all of the deck
Crosswords. Solo game to try build up a crossword using all the deck, from a hand of 7 cards.
Patience. A solo effort to make crosswords out of 3 sets of 18, 4 sets of 13, 5 sets of 10, or 6 sets of 9 cards.

Children's games, based on the individual letter values of the cards.

Pairs. Concentration / Pelmanism using a 6x6 array of cards.
Switch. Players try to be the first to empty their hand by playing a letter adjacent to the visible letter, or a Switch card.
The Clown. A version of Old Maid.

Gambling games, usually based on the relative positions of the letters in the alphabet, with players taking turns being the banker.

In Between. Players bet on whether their 3rd card will fall between their 1st 2 cards.
Banker. The banker, for each other player, bets on whether their 3rd card will fall between their 1st 2 cards.
Ascot. A horse-race betting simulation.

Blind Monkey. Players bet on whether their turned up card beats the dealer's card.
Kitty. A Michigan variant, trying to play out your hand first, going low to high.
Slippery Jam. Players bet on whether either of their 2 cards will beat the dealer's card.
Ponto. Players bet on whether their pair of cards will beat the dealer's pair.
