Can you hold Nimy Bridge?

On 23 August 1914, a small number of British soldiers defended Nimy Bridge against a determined German assault. Now you can refight this famous action on your tabletop.

Nimy Bridge is a fast, self-contained introductory scenario for All Hell Let Loose: Great War. Designed to be played in around 20–30 minutes, it provides a tense and challenging game for two players while introducing the core mechanics of the full ruleset.

Everything you need to play is included — all rules, battlefield, orders of battle, troop illustrations and printable counters. All you need to provide are six-sided dice and a tabletop. Want to substitute your own figures? - go ahead.

The complete scenario rules fit onto just two A4 pages, making them quick to learn and easy to keep beside the battlefield while you play.

The scenario uses a simplified version of the core All Hell Let Loose: Great War mechanics:

Activation – uncertainty and command friction mean you can never be completely sure when your troops will act or how much they will achieve.
Firing – simple but effective rules for infantry and machine-gun fire.
Assault – brutal close combat where determined attackers can overwhelm even a strong defensive position.

If you enjoy Nimy Bridge, these same core mechanics form the foundation of the full All Hell Let Loose: Great War ruleset. The complete game allows you to refight the land battles of the Great War from 1914 to 1918, across all theatres, with additional rules covering trenches, fortifications, bombardments, barrages, tanks, cavalry, gas and aircraft.

All Hell Let Loose: Great War is designed to be quick to learn, straightforward to play and tactically challenging, without drowning players in paperwork or complicated mechanics.

Nimy Bridge is also being taken to UK wargames shows as a participation game, giving players the opportunity to experience the scenario and the All Hell Let Loose system for themselves.
