Angol leírás

18HN is a privately developed and produced variant of the 18xx games, based in central Germany.
It adopts the basic mechanics of Francis Tresham's classic variants and adds its own special content on regional characteristics. 1835 by Michael Meier-Bachl and 1844 by Helmut Ohley also had a major influence on the development of the game.
The players start with the same amount of starting capital and try to earn as much money as possible by buying and selling shares in various stock corporations that have operated in the Hesse & Nassau region. The game board uses a hexagonal layout on which the railroad companies place track sections, build stations and then fictitiously run their locomotives in order to earn money from which the shareholders can profit. However, the railroad companies can also get into difficulties if they cannot keep up with the technical progress of the trains.
A game is over when the bank runs out of money or a player is forced to file for bankruptcy. The player with the most personal assets then wins.
18HN joins the many variants that have followed Francis Tresham's early publications, but 18HN is a purely privately developed and published game with which the developers do not seek to make a profit. Therefore, when an order is placed, only compensation for production costs is requested.
