17K2 is a challenging, minimalist solo push-your-luck survival and route-planning game set on the treacherous slopes of K2. Players take on the role of an expedition leader attempting to reach the summit and return within a strict 17-day limit while managing scarce resources, volatile weather, and team fatigue.

Overview
The mountain is divided into 4 climbing stages punctuated by Rest Areas. To win, you must reach the summit before Day 17 expires without succumbing to fatal physical or mental exhaustion (Slump).

Key Mechanics
Resource & Morale Management: Balance your Food supply (max 10) and Morale. When Food runs out, team Morale drops immediately to zero.

Dynamic Weather System: At each Rest Area, flip a coin to determine the weather for the upcoming stage. Clear skies bring steady progress, while brutal Blizzards force double Morale checks each climbing day.

The Slump Mechanism: If Morale drops to 0, your team gains a persistent Slump point (max 3). Slump permanently reduces your maximum Morale cap. Reaching 3 Slump pushes your team to the brink—forcing life-or-death survival coin flips!

Tactical Rest Area Choices: At each Rest Area, choose whether to Stay and resupply, press forward to Climb, or Descend back to Base Camp to fully clear Slump points (Clear weather only).
Once-Per-Game Support: Call in a single emergency support option during the game to regain vital supplies, clear Slump, or execute a desperate move through severe weather.

Victory Conditions
Reach the summit by finishing Stage 4 on or before Day 17 with less than 3 Slump points. If you reach the summit at 3 Slump points, a final coin flip determines whether you successfully conquer the peak or are forced back to Rest Area 3 for one last attempt.
